A Note About Costs
Although PESI makes all possible efforts to accurately determine program costs and prices, it reserves the right to increase quoted charges at any time based on increased host institution costs, exchange rate fluctuations, or other cost increases beyond PESI’s control.
PESI provides discounted international travel arrangements for all program participants departing on the dates we have booked for the programs. Round trip tickets booked through PESI permit an open return for 6 months, affording students maximum flexibility in arranging post-program travel.
Airfare costs (as a part of the program fee) are estimates and based on current prices quoted for the group flight . PESI will send an updated invoice at the time of ticketing for any remaining balance if actual airfares are higher than these estimates. If the student chooses not to take the group flight, the amount billed for the international airfare will be credited to the student’s account. However, he/she will have to arrange his/her local transportation between the airport and campus.
Insurance
Medical insurance, including medical evacuation insurance, is included in the program cost. In addition, flight insurance is automatically provided with each airline ticket purchased by PESI. Since the medical insurance policy included in the cost of the program may have some coverage limitations, students are strongly encouraged to have additional health coverage from another source.
